Tricia has been an active volunteer in her community, donating her time and resources to many educational and athletic organizations. During the last several years she has served as a Site Council Member, PTC President and a member of the Program Analyst Committee for the Eureka School District. She has headed numerous committees and fundraising efforts supporting good programs and activities for the children in her community.

After reading The Well Trained Mind and A Thomas Jefferson Education she realized it was a classical education model she was seeking to educate her younger children. John Adams Academy’s adoption of these principles and values made bringing her youngest daughter to the school an easy decision. She is committed to helping build the school’s community of parents, teachers and scholars. John Quincy Adams expresses her personal motto this year in a quote, “Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.”

Tricia and her family are actively involved in soccer and track and field and love family orientated vacations as her family stretches from upstate New York to here in California. Tricia and her husband David have lived in the Granite Bay area for the last 15 years with their 5 children.
